This work is personal for me.
I built my career in technology from the ground up—starting in desktop support and advancing into Information Security leadership, where I led, supported, and advised in high-stakes environments. Over more than 20 years, I earned a seat at the table in rooms where critical decisions were made, partnering closely with leaders responsible for protecting systems, people, and business continuity. That journey not only shaped my expertise—it transformed the trajectory of my life and created a foundation of stability, opportunity, and long-term impact for my family.
My IT career shaped my expertise and changed the trajectory of my life, bringing stability, opportunity, and long-term impact for my family.
Along the way, I began to notice a consistent gap—the difference between being technically strong and being truly prepared to lead. After retiring, I chose to build something that directly addressed that gap, launching a consulting practice focused on helping both high-potential and established professionals step fully into leadership.
As the work evolved, so did the vision. I expanded into executive search to support leaders more fully—helping place them in the right environments and build teams that can operate with clarity under pressure.
That evolution became The Manhattan Group—a reflection of a standard where presence, positioning, and purpose come together to shape meaningful careers.
That work evolved into the E3 Method—executive presence, emotional intelligence, and business etiquette—built on the belief that how a leader shows up often matters just as much as what they know.
The Manhattan Group was shaped by my experience at the intersection of technology leadership and human insight—where alignment, clarity, and positioning are often the difference between potential and real impact. This work reflects a more intentional approach to how leaders are prepared, presented, and placed.
The name itself is deeply personal. Manhattan represents something that has always resonated with me—a standard of presence, precision, and purpose. It’s a place where how you show up matters, where confidence is quiet but unmistakable, and where positioning can influence the direction of an entire career.
That same standard defines The Manhattan Group. Not just placing talent—but curating it. Not just opening doors—but preparing leaders to walk through them with clarity and confidence. Not just filling roles—but aligning people with opportunities where they can truly lead, influence, and deliver.
Confidence. Composure. Command.
